My Insight Into The Finals

So guys, I have been asked by my dear, but superstitious sister to get typing, to help RCB a bit. If I had to describe my sis in three words during these past two months, it would superstitious, superstitious and superstitious.

But still, here I am, probably typing the longest blog ever, cause I REALLY REALLY want RCB to win!!! It's already looking really good for RCB, with the bowling looking in top form. Don't wanna say anything to jinx it though!!!

Our fielding is looking ON POINT so far, so all looking good for Bangalore!! Gayle bowling.....run out chance, could have been better fielding. Hmm, I'm really surprised that Gayle has been brought on to bowl, but a good move though.

Results, Results and Results.....

So apparently we were supposed to get our 10th standard results today, but no shit has happened.

It's getting on a lot of peoples nerves, including mine, that though our results are ready to be declared, it is just being postponed, and postponed and postponed. The board isn't thinking about the eager but anxious wait for us students.

 

Also, I want to tell you all how ridiculous it is that literally the entire course of our lives is being decided by this one exam.One. Fricking. Exam. When will the Indian Education System change!? There is so much pressure on students for this one exam, and sometimes for some people it is too much to handle.

 

So we get done with the exams, and by some miracle we have all coped with the stress, all to face it again waiting for our results!!?? What are you TRYING TO KILL US!? It is BEYOND ridiculous, honestly.

 

Every other day there is some ridiculous report in the news or online saying "CBSE Results to be declared tomorrow", and every student has that nervous, restless sleep, wakes up in the morning and finds out that it was a false report! What are you guys trying to achieve!? Give some kid a heart attack!? CUT IT OUT.

 

The declaration of our results has been so over hyped that I don't think anyone feels anything. We have run out of sweat, energy and racing heartbeats. It's about time to end this crap.

 

To my fellow 10th graders, I do wish you all the best for whenever our results do come out, and I hope everybody has all the success they deserve!! 

It's About Time We Change

I'm sick of this. Sick of this country and the stuck up mentality of majority of the people. The traffic. The pollution. The noise. The garbage everywhere. The corruption. Everything. I'm sick of everything.

Right from the reckless behavior of people when it comes to our environment and our surroundings, to the rash driving and the endless traffic, to the cheap people who give cheap staresand pass cheap comments, just cause they're cheap, to the stupid attitude of 'not mine, so don't care' that EVERYBODY adopts.

I don't know why, and I'm not proud of the fact, that this list is so long !!

Just yesterday, I was crossing the road, and about 50 meters behind me a bus had stopped, to pick up some passengers. I begin to cross the road, and when the bus starts, the driver sees me crossing, and instead of waiting, he starts accelerating TOWARDS me. I mean who in their right minds would do that!?? And so I ran back to the footpath, and the conductor in the bus had the adaucity to SHOUT at me from the bus!?? Like WHAT THE F*** !??

Garbage collectors (and I'm saying this because it has happened to my mom) won't collect garbage that is even one meter away from the area allotted to them!! One fricking meter!!

And also, every girl, and I mean literally every single one, will tell you that some random cheap guy, on the road, or at a signal, would have stared at her, or winked at her, or passed cheap comments like I said before.

I mean there are SO many restrictions on girls because of these things. I myself, being a girl child, have so many restrictions, and I don't blame my parents. Parents must be so insecure about their girl children, and all because of some random A Holes, who don't have a life or any better work to do than make girls insecure.

Honestly, we talk about how people study in India and then move abroad, and we criticize them so much, questioning their patriotism, but maybe they have just got that fed up with this damned country that they left it, leading better lives somewhere else. Is that to much to ask for !? Is it to much to understand !? It isn't for me. But it's time this country changed. Many people, including myself, believe that India is in the process of changing. But the question is are we really !??

P.S: Sorry if this offended anyone, it's just my bitter truth.

The Truth About Love

He was broken.

Girls had come and gone, but none of them wrecking him the way She did.

This girl picked up the pieces of his broken heart. She was the light in his darkness. His star in the night. With all the love and warmth she had, she melted his heart right back into shape. Warmth flooded back into his life. He was no more broken.

He had late night phone calls with her, and this time, she was listening.
He always had her when he needed her, for she was one call away.
He took out his anger on her, but she never got upset.
He had a friend when he needed one.
He had a date when he wanted one
He had everything he wanted because of her.
He broke her heart.

With mended heart and even more love, he went back to Her. She who had not done anything to deserve his love, not before, not now, not ever. She who had broken his heart, but stole it as well, never returning it, keeping him returning. She who stole him from That girl.

That girl who loved him, and cared for him.
That girl who deserved his love, but still doesn't have it.
That girl who fixed him with all her warmth.

And now, That girl was broken, the love and warmth sucked right out her.

What's On Your Mind!?

Hey Peeps!!! What are you guys up to!? I'm so jobless, just sitting at home, entertaining things in my house running out. That's pretty much been the story of my entire vacation!! What have you been up to!? Lazing around, getting on your parents nerves while burning a hole through their wallet.......just like me!!!??

I seriously have been just a waste of space this entire one and a half months!!! Don't know what to do with myself!!

All this free time has got me thinking about the most RANDOM things. Like, for example, how the seat belt in a car, which is meant to keep you safe in case of sudden breaks, can end up choking you!?
It's mind boggling really.

Also, in my free time, I watch A LOT of Anime, and whenever I do watch, it strikes me that Anime characters are UNREALISTICLY hot!! I mean just think about it!! The hairstyles, the body, the attitude........it's not humanly possible!!

And can someone please explain to me the concept of poking someone!? I really don't get it. Is it because you aren't next to the person, so you virally "poke" them!!?? That's ridiculous!!! Ridiculous.....but fun at the same time, so I'm not complaining!!

Well, back to being bore cause I don't wanna bore you peeps!! Carry on lazing around then!!!

So, it's Friday the 13th......anybody out there see a ghost or something!!?? 

Honestly, I don't believe in this ghost stuff, and all these superstitions about unlucky13, cause to me, it's kind of weird and unbelievable.

 

But hey, if you do believe in all of this, then all I can say is that I hope you have a lucky Friday the 13th!! With no ghosts, or vampires, or werewolves or anything like that, if you know what I mean!! I definitely don't want anyone to face a real life situation of Hotel Transylvania!!! 😅😅😅.

 

All that aside, I do have some advice for all those superstitious peeps out there:

OMG! Civil War is just AMAZING! One of the best Marvel movies I have seen! Definitely surpassed my expectations, it was such a mind blowing movie!!

Well firstly, I was constantly asked who's team I was on, Team Captain America or Team Iron Man. But let me ask you something, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CAN CHOSE!!??

 

I mean, there's the strong, muscular, fine looking Chris Evans on one side, with his amazing team consisting of psychic girl Scarlet, guy with sweet wings Falcon, the Winter soldier Bucky of course, Ant-man AND Hawkeye.....HOW COOL!!!!

 

                                

 

 

 

And THEN,  there's the hilarious, sarcastic, also fine looking Robert Downey Jr on the other side with his fantastic team consisting of Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, Black Panther, Vision, War Machine AND........Spiderman!!!

One Of Those IPL Nights

Huh. Those late nights, staying up and watching IPL matches. Tonight is one of those nights. My Bangalore team playing Punjab (I used to support them two seasons ago). But it's all to disappointing really. My team isn't playing well, and that's been the story of this entire season!!
Too many key players lost to injury, RCB just isn't able to find the right balance........and if they do find it any later in the tournament, it's gonna be to late
Well, in other news, a lot of mosquitoes are biting me now. My life is THAT uneventful that this would qualify as news!!

OK THIS MIGHT BE OUT FINALLY. Chahal might have the break through!! AND HE DOES!!! So now I'm gonna spend the rest of the match typing cause I now believe typing is lucky for RCB. Something that you may not know about me, but might have figured out due to my previous sentence........
I'm VERY superstitious. VERY.

The Rain

Someone once told me
When I was in seventh grade

Vacations!!

Okay. So recently I went to Udaipur for a cousins wedding.....and I have only one word for it FANTABULOUS. It is such a beautiful place, with a hint of ancient India and a modernized civilization.
So originally we were in Kumbhalgarh first, and the story of the small place captivated me, and you MUST check it out. The wall surrounding the Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second largest in the world, after the Great Wall of China.

                             

It's actually so big that marathons are run on it every year!! The fort is a beautiful place, where you can see the sparring fields, queens quarters, horse stables and a lot more, including light and sound show telling the tale of Kumbhalgarh.

                            

I do not have enough words to describe the temple above, Ranakpur Temple. The carvings inside are beyond beautiful, and it's such a peaceful, quite, sacred and brilliantly maintained place. And now for one of the highlights of  my trip, the Parshuram Temple in Kumbhalgarh.

    

Now you may not understand why this was one of the highlights of my trip. Well, let me explain. the TREK to the temple was a highlight......actually trek is an understatement!! Over a 1000 steps and several slopes downhill (which gets down in  jiffy) AND uphill.
Now coming uphill is when I thought I would never make it back to civilization, and I had my life flashing before my eyes 😂😂. It was REALLY tough!! Eventually I did make it back though....and these are now memories I will treasure FOREVER.

So that's about it I saw over in Kumbhalgarh, after which I headed to Udaipur.

Ah! The City of Lakes! It is one of the most beautiful places I have EVER seen, and though we had to cramp up all the sight seeing in a couple of days, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

     

Fateh Sagar Lake, where I went boating, and in the middle of which Nehru Park is located, and it's so beautiful I, again, don't have enough words to describe it (the amount of times I was left speechless by the beauty of these places is SO MANY)

City Palace. Enough said. Such a grand place, with such an amazing history, I was in awe. They thought of EVERYTHING when they built that palace.....like literally EVERYTHING. The Royal family still occupies part of it, and the rest is open to the public. This, too, is a must visit.

                      

So all this put aside, the first North Indian wedding I attended was amazing!! Shout out to my cousin and my aunt for giving me such a great time and such great hospitality!! I met amazing new people and had such a great time, I didn't want it to end!! In the tradition od North Indian weddings, five of us, including me, managed to get the Grooms 'jootha' (shoes), and made some profit from it 😂😂😁😁. Congrats to the amazing couple though!! Happy married life!! Love ya!!


So all in all, an amazing, fantabulous, once in a lifetime (hope not), experience!!! If you ever have the chance to go you should!! And use this as a guide!!!

Paper World

The other night, fallen asleep
I dreamt of a paper world
With different kinds of paper people
And paper animals and paper birds

The sky a faint ink black
Origami birds flying back to their nests
And the slight breeze rustling paper leaves
This paper world was at it's best.

And there was my family, all sitting together
Watching TV, the Paper Back View
Laughing, enjoying, just having a good time
The moon lighting the world up, bright and new

But all was not as it appeared
In this world of paper times
There was still pollution and corruption
And people committing many a crime

And of course there was still paper money
Fueling these paper peoples greed
And even in this world of paper people
This paper money never met ever growing needs

Confetti cannons leading the way
In wars being fought for no reason
Burning holes through the paper armies
While the helpless paper people run

Smoke burning the paper atmosphere
Paper trees being shredded down
And pollution from paper factories and cars
Turning paper white buildings brown

All was not a fairytale written in this paper world
But these paper people had hope and belief
That someday they would write the fairytale ending
And could turn the page, and start over a new leaf
